As the trial of George Zimmerman plays
out, national media coverage has kept a constant scope on facts and opinions surrounding the case. As we have studied both
the Press and the accused people have rights, and on occasion those rights can conflict. As the world changes media expands
giving a voice to opinionated people across the globe and allowing access to those opinions by millions at the drop of a hat.
Your task will be to look into a small fraction of the media stories which have been reported relating to the Trevon Martin/George
Zimmerman case, through a variety of media sources. After gathering this information you will write your opinion as to the
outcome of this case and whether lines have been crossed be the media regarding the rights of Mr. Zimmerman.
Wikipedia: one of the most common sources of information today is the website wikipedia. it
provides a socail forum for the public to add/delete information on articles. find a basic rundown of information
about the case here.

and read stories happening around the US and World. the following links are articles relating to the Zimmerman case, some
are in favor of Trevon Martin, some are in favor of George Zimmerman. Some of these articles present or discuss
facts relating to the case, while others are opinions disscussed. please read articles, do not worry about comments made
on articles, but only the articles themselves. Some articles also contain links for further information, beware some of those
linked articles contain strong language.

Assignment:
after you have read some of the articles and visited some of the sites you must now put your thoughts into
a paper. this paper should be 3-5 pages typed double spaced. in this paper you will discuss the events which transpired in
the Trayvon Martin Shooting up to this point in time, as well as your opinion as to the guilt of Zimmerman. You shall also
include a breif thought as to how media has effected this case and if you feel the rights of those involved have been violated
and whether or not this case is unique in media coverage. this paper is due Friday
